A German Imperial Swimming Federation (Dsv) Badge Auction Archive his days were numbered"Deutsche Schwimm Verband". Bronze gilt and enamels, maker marked "P. SCHMIDT BERLIN 25" double stamped and marked "GES. GESCH." on the reverse, 32. 5 mm, horizontal pinback, extremely fine. Footnote: The German Swimming Federation (DSV) was founded in Berlin in August 1886.
