A bronze Rupert cross paty, the obverse centre bears the cipher of King WIlhelm II within an oak leaf wreath, the 12 oclock arm bears the imperial crown, the 6 oclock arm bears the date 1915, the reverse centre presents the inscription KRIEGSVERDIENST within a circular oak wreath border, two upwards facing crossed swords lay between the arms, measuring 44. 60 mm (w) x 48. 94 mm (h), with suspension
