Constructed of a field grey cotton blend, the obverse bearing a central machine embroidered dark blue Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with feathering highlighted in silver grey threading, flanked on each side by machine embroidered multi coloured standards in golden yellow Cavalry Reconnaissance Waffenfarbe, with details highlighted in silver aluminum wire, above an oak leaf
