Chateau De Chamirey Mercurey 1er Cru Clos l’Evêque 2021 willow-creek This 6th vintage of GigondasDeep dark red core with black shaded surrounds and a dark red hue. Filling the nostrils are ripe dark cherry and strawberry aromas followed by some anise, scorched earth, sappy cedar and subtle spicy dried herb notes. Ripe almost juicy like black cherry and liquorice flavours take centre stage with some strawberry, earthy cedar and spicy herb characters lying underneath.
